Shelf Sightings | Hot Wheels at 7 Eleven

Hot Wheels has become widely known in the Philippines because of its availability through retail channels in department stores, toy stores, and convenience stores. For those unaware, 7-Eleven has been carrying Hot Wheels since the 2000s.The earliest sighting of Hot Wheels cars on pegs started being seen in 2005.

It’s almost 20 years since it happened. But not consistently as you’d expect. The idea of seeing Hot Wheels assortment at a convenient store like 7-Eleven in the Philippines is inconsistent. They never actively stocked, unlike in foreign countries, where not only does 7-Eleven get some die-cast cars, but they also get a wide assortment of toys.

The most notable stores that usually get stocked are the ones with large foot traffic. It’s no surprise that most stores don’t have them. It is also based on location and the decision of the manager handling stock would handle orders to test the market at their specific location.

But here at the 7-Eleven in The Rise Makati, they started having them hanging on the pegs, as you can see in their display here. The assortment is from the 2024 mainline, but doesn’t say which case, as some of them have already been mixed up from the display. But you can post the notable castings that you might find interesting to pick it up from their pegs.

Hort Wheels' basic mainline assortment is retailed at 7-Eleven for ₱ 140.00 Pesos ($ 3.90 AUD | $ 2.51 USD**). Hot Wheels is distributed in the Philippines by Richprime Global Inc.
