The Majorette brand has been popular in some parts of the world, besides in its home country as being one of the premium brands to thrive in competing with the best in the world.
To this day, it is well-known in the Australasia region that some of their products are based on their cars, Utes, and, heavy vehicles reproduced based on Australia’s well-known companies like 13 Cabs, Australia Post, and Murrays to name a few as exclusive to the country alone. But they’re selectively available in Australia… |
The quality of the castings for Majorette and its other brands under the parent company Simba-Dickie Group slowly become some of the favourite collectibles in the world. With that they continue to become well-known in the Asian Region. Majorette alone still carry the same heritage that became one of popular die-cast brands that collectors has slowly discovered with a plethora of licensed cars as its famous segment.
A good friend who is based in Melbourne went to visit this morning one of the local retail shops that carry the Majorette brand in Ultimate Action Toys, which not only carry top of line model kits, remote control cars, and other hobby-related products they also have some of the interesting range of Majorette cars.
Some of the displays featured in these images shared today are what they have currently in stock. Interestingly enough some of the assortment they have, besides the Australian Exclusive vehicles also have those not sold in other countries like the discontinued casting and hard-to-find JDMs like the 4x4 Toyota FJ40 and new colours of the Toyota Celica GT Coupe.
They also carry the larger scale Simba-Dickie vehicles like the emergency services featuring fire trucks and rescue ambulances that have lights & sounds features. Not seen in the photos are the Tune-Up Series blind cars with colourful attachments and upgrades that are randomly packaged, including the Ultimate Rare cars.
It’s impressive enough that the Majorette brand is not carried at major retail stores, but at Ultimate Action Toys they have the best line-up including the multipacks. If you happen to be in the area, be sure to visit and check out their plethora of products, including the Majorette brand and some of their high-end hobby-related brands that will entice you to start up with a new interest.
For now, the much coveted Volkswagen Amarok was a welcome surprise gift as they are on sale at Ultimate Action Toys. Not One, but TWO as my good friend Tony has said… One to Keep, and One to open for some Toy Photography... Very Soon!
The VW Amarok with a camper shell is the last edition released from 2017-2020 that Majorette has already discontinued, and Ultimate Action Toys was one of the special shops to carry this casting. If you’re keen to acquire one too, don’t forget to hit them up, and if you’re not from Melbourne they also ship worldwide!
